Kiwi mare heads odds for the William Reid Stakes

Kiwi mare Imperatriz dominates the Ladbrokes.com.au market for the feature race at The Valley tonight, the William Reid Stakes (1200m).

The Mark Walker trained multiple Group l winner comes to Melbourne off the back of a narrow second in the Canterbury Stakes at Randwick and back to 1200m, she looks hard to beat. Opened $3.30 and touched $3 before going to $3.50.

In The Congo has been best backed to beat her, into $6 from $14. Jigsaw is in a point from $7.50 while the other Kiwi mare, Babylon Berlin, has been well tried. Opened $14 and touched $21 before going to $12.
